Birthday Party

Kelsey had a great party, despite the rain. Eric kept the kids entertained with a scavenger hunt, frisbee toss, a version of pin the tail on the donkey, and hide and seek. She is having two of her friends spend the night-fun, fun!!

Happy Birthday Kelsey Rene!

Today is Kelsey's 6th Birthday! It is so hard to believe that she is that old:) I am trying to get ready for her party and hope the rain will hold off until after the pool party is over.....she is having six friends over, Courtney will have three, there will be two older helpers + Eric, Mindy, and myself! I will post pictures later....

We had a nice time at the Arts Festival in Alexandria. Dan and Laurie came over for supper and it was nice to see them. After supper, we went out in the backyard where the girls showed off their golf swings! Warren gave Courtney a box of vintage Nancy Lopez golf balls which she was very excited about! We have a busy week ahead of us with Kelsey's birthday party with friends on Wednesday and family party on Saturday. Have a good week everyone!

Kylee and Courtney have been participating in the golf program through City Rec. (Eric is coaching them). Today the golf club sponsored a youth tournament. Kylee placed first and Courtney placed third in their age bracket! Yesterday, we took Ashley, Kyler, Kylee and the girls to the Britton swimming pool. The older kids jumped off the high diving board many times and Kelsey spent most of the day going down the waterslide! Kylee spent the night and they were both up early for the golf tournament.

We are going to the Alexandria Arts Festival tomorrow with Warren, Ann, and Sarah. Have a great weekend!

Race Days in Jackson

The girls and I ventured to Jackson this past weekend for Race Days. We had a great time attending all of the fun events and seeing friends and family. Warren, Ann, and Sarah were there as well. It was fun to spend time with them! "City Mouse," played on Friday evening and were awesome! Our cousin, Alexis was crowned "Little Miss Jackson" and we attended the pageant, so that was fun to watch. My friends Rachel and Jeni drove down from Wabasso and spent most of the day with us. It was great to watch the parade from Duff and Gloria's yard. The girls helped grandma pick raspberries and Kelsey played many games of 'War,' her favorite card game! Have a great week everyone:)

We would like to wish all of our friends and family a very Happy 4th of July. We will be travelling over to Elbow Lake to spend the 4th at my brother Dan and sister-in-law Laurie's cabin. It will be fun to relax on the lake:)
