Hello from San Diego!

I am in beautiful San Diego, California attending a BIE Special Education Academy. The special department that I oversee, received a special education excellence award for meeting all of the necessary deadlines and performance plan indicators. One of the school board members came with me as well. Our hotel is right near the ocean and the weather is beautiful! I will be here until Friday. Have a good week everyone:)

We took a group of Courtney's friends to Milbank on Saturday to swim at Unity Square. After swimming, we celebrated with pizza and cake at the Pizza Ranch. She had a nice party.

We hope all of our friends and relatives in Minnesota have a great first week of school!!

Happy Birthday Courtney Darlene!

We would like to wish our daughter, Courtney Darlene a very happy 9th birthday on Thursday. We are so proud of you and love you very much! Courtney will be celebrating her birthday at Unity Square in Milbank with six of her friends. We will be taking the kids swimming and to Pizza Ranch for supper.
