Our Family
German Goodies!
German Goodies!
Advent Calendars
Kelsey and her teacher
Today when I arrived home from school, there was a large package on our porch. The package was from Jason, Birgit, and Clara Smith-our cousins who live in Germany. The package was filled with German treats, presents, pictures, and 2 Advent calendars for the girls. It was such a pleasant surprise!!! We will enjoy the Christmas goodies all month long! Our desktop computer is not working, so if anyone has Jason's e-mail address-would you please send it to me so that I can thank him!
Kelsey had her school Christmas concert this evening and Courtney's is tomorrow night. Have a good week everyone!

Happy Birthday/Happy Veteran's Day!
We would like to wish our niece and cousin, Danielle a very Happy Birthday today! We would also like to wish our uncle and brother, Jimmer a very Happy Veteran's Day tomorrow. Thank you for your service to our country. We are having a Veteran's Day program tomorrow at school and making a human flag. I will try and post pictures. The school is holding a free meal for the community as well. It will be a busy day!!

Good Friends
Courtney and Kelsey's friends, Saheli and Hema were in town last Thursday night. The girls had supper with them at Subway.
Eric and I had today off from school to observe Veteran's Day. I spent the morning volunteering in Courtney and Kelsey's classrooms. This afternoon, we have been cleaning around the house. It is another gorgeous day outside!
Have a good week!!

Halloween 2009
The girls had a great time trick or treating last evening. They started the day at ice skating lessons, then attended the carnival in Sisseton, before venturing out to trick or treat. Since we didn't have any trick or treaters this year, they went over to the Hagen's house to help pass out candy. Mom and dad met us in Watertown yesterday and followed us home for the weekend. Courtney and Kelsey sang in church this morning and Courtney received her Bible. It was a very nice service.
Have a great week everyone!
