We had a wonderful weekend! Nicole and Marty's wedding was beautiful! On Saturday, we went to Jim and Shelly's. Eric and Jimmer went to the Twins game while Shelly and I loaded up the kids for Mall of America. The Smith cousins had a great time shoppping and riding on the rides. On Sunday we drove home and attended graduation parties for two Sisseton graduates. It was a very nice weekend!!

Kelsey's Awards Day

Kelsey had her First Grade Awards program on Tuesday. She received Student of the Month for May, an award for spelling, math, reading, and behavior. Her class sang songs and had treats for the parents. We are very proud of the girls and all of their accomplishments this year. Their last day of school is tomorrow and then Friday we will leave for the Cities. Our niece, Nicole is getting married. We are looking forward to a fun weekend with all of the Smith's:)

Today was Third Grade Awards Day at Westside. Courtney received the following awards: Citizenship, Reading, Math, Spelling, 50 point club for AR, Music Performance, and 'A' Honor Roll. She is a super student and we are very proud of her:) Tomorrow is Kelsey's Awards Day......Eric and I finished the 2009-2010 school year with students today. It was amazing how fast the school year flew by! The girls are finished with school on Thursday.

Courtney had her piano recital on Friday evening. Shey did a great job! She played two songs and then another song that she composed herself-we are very proud of her!! The theme for the recital, was "Hats Off to You," everyone was encouraged to wear hats. We also found out that Kelsey was awarded May Student of the Month in first grade:) Way to go Kelsey!

Track and Field + Field Trip

Courtney and Kelsey had their track and field day on Monday. Eric was able to attend and take pictures! Today I went to the Watertown Zoo with Kelsey's class. It was a fun day!! Courtney's piano recital is tomorrow and we also have TZ graduation ceremonies to attend-busy, busy!!

I went outside to pull weeds from the plants in the front yard and Skittles had left me a dead chipmunk and baby mouse-how kind of him;)

Happy Birthday Warren!

We'd like to wish our brother, brother-in-law, and Uncle Warren a very Happy Birthday today!! It's a busy week in the Heath household....today is Track and Field day for both girls as well as Kelsey's Spring Music Concert. Tomorrow night is Courtney's Spring Music Concert. Wednesday is their school carnival. Thursday they both have school fieldtrips, and Friday is Courtney's piano recital + graduation at TZ:)

The weekend was beautiful, we enjoyed golfing and gardening. It was so nice to be outside in the sunshine!

We had a great time at Smuckers "Stars on Ice." Sasha Cohen, Todd Eldredge, Michael Weiss, and the pairs skaters who won Olympic silver were there. The bus left Watertown at 7:00 am and we arrived home at 11:45 last night. It was a long day, but very fun.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all of the mothers we know.....especially Darlene and Cheryl. We hope you both have a wonderful day. We are going to attend "Stars on Ice" tomorrow. It is our yearly trip with the figure skating club. So, we celebrated Mother's Day last evening. Kelsey gave me a handprint that she had done, Courtney made me a calendar, and Eric bought me new golf clubs:) I am so excited to learn how to golf! Have a great weekend everyone:)

We would like to wish our uncle, brother, and brother-in-law Ted a very Happy Birthday today!! We hope you had a great day:) Courtney and Jalen found a bird's nest under the big tree in our backyard. The photo of Skittles was taken by Kelsey-----she may be a future photographer!! I borrowed the photo of Courtney and her friends painting the mural from the school's website:)

The girls delivered 18 May baskets to their friends on Saturday, which was a lot of fun. Saturday night was Prom for Sisseton High School. We went to watch Grand March as Cheyann (the girls' babysitter), Christian (family friend), and Calli (daughter of Courtney's teacher) participated in the festivities.

We want to wish our nephew and cousin Tyler a very Happy 25th Birthday today!! Hard to believe he is that old......love ya Ty:)
