We enjoyed the American Idol concert even though there were not many people there! Our favorite performers were: Crystal, Lee, Big Mike, and Aaron.

The girls-a fourth grader and a second grader--Wow!! How time flies....

Courtney and Kelsey completed their first day of school today! It is a 'Smith' ritual (at least from what I can remember).....to take a picture every year on the first day of school. They both had a great day----Courtney has Mrs. Schubert and Kelsey has Mrs. Heitmann. The girls and I are going to Minneapolis on Friday for the American Idol concert with the Shakopee Smith's!! It should be a good time:) Have a great week everyone!

I finished my first 10k race today in Britton. It was a perfect day......65 degrees with a few sprinkles. It was great accomplishment, and I received first place in my age group. Courtney and Kelsey also participated in a Munchkin Run. We are going to spend the day at our friend's cabin and then will be taking the girls to Sioux Falls tomorrow. Mom and dad will be coming over to meet us and take the girls with them for the week. Sam is going to join them------so they will have a great time with grandpa and grandma.
