The weather affected the number of Smith's that were able to attend-but the three of us and our familiies enjoyed being together! Hopefully we will all be together at Jamie's graduation in June! We wanted to wish Shelly a Happy Belated Birthday and Ted and Pam a very Happy Anniversary as well! Have a good week everyone:)
The girls competed in their second figure skating competition on Saturday in Willmar. Kelsey was third place in Compulsory, 4th place in Freeskate, and 3rd place in Interpretive. Courtney was third place in Compulsory, fifth place in freeskate, and 2nd place in interpretive. Mom and dad came to watch them skate as well-it was a fun day!!
We had a wonderful time in Jackson on Christmas. The girls received great gifts and we saw two movies! It's always wonderful to spend the holidays with my parents...the home cooked meals are great as well! Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!
I have been a terrible blogger lately.....we are busy with figure skating, concerts, programs and getting ready for Christmas. We hope all of you are having a wonderful holiday season. The weather here has been so nice---just wish we had a little snow;) We are excited to welcome home two kittens into our family next weekend----a boy and a girl. I will post photos next weekend.
We spent this beautiful day on the trails at Sica Hollow State Park with some of our figure skating friends from Watertown. It was a gorgeous day to enjoy some hiking and take a few pictures.....
We'd like to wish our nephew and cousin Andrew a very Happy Birthday today!! We would also like to welcome the newest addition to the Smith family....Tanner James was born to Chelsea and Tyler today. Congrats to the parents, grandparents, and great grandparents:)
Our dear pet Skittles passed away on Sunday evening. We think he had been sick for awhile because he wasn't acting like himself, but didn't expect him to pass away. We should have taken him to the vet, but didn't know that he was so ill. He was a great cat and will be missed a great deal.
