4th of July in Iraq

As all of my blog readers are aware, my brother is currently serving a tour of duty in Iraq. He is a Lt. Colonel in the Army and we are all very proud of him. He sent me two photographs from COB Speicher and the 4th of July celebration held there. Jimmer reported that it is 115 degrees daily and the temperature at 7 pm was still 101 degrees when he took the photos.

Happy 4th of July!

We hope that everyone has a very safe and Happy 4th of July. Please remember our military past and present who have fought for our freedom. Thank you Jimmer, Shelly and kids for your sacrifices-we love you. I thought I'd post some pictures from years past.....

A Day with Maya, McKenzie and Kylee

A local woman who served on the Tribal Council passed away on Saturday of a massive heart attack, she was only 49 years old. Mindy and Patrick attended the funeral, so we spent the afternoon entertaining the girls. McKenzie, Kylee, and Courtney jumped on the trampoline (with the sprinkler underneath) while Kelsey kept Maya busy. She especially liked Eric! Maya is 13 months old and a very busy little girl:) We had a fun time.

We'd like to wish everyone a very Happy 4th of July!

After an Afternoon at the Pool....

The girls and I decided to go swimming at the city pool today. It was a beautiful day (80 degrees) with a little bit of wind. We had a great time! When we got home, Courtney helped me make a pan of Nestle chocolate chip bars and Kelsey....fell asleep in the chair.

Happy Birthday Ann!

We would like to wish our sister-in-law and aunt a very Happy Birthday today! You are very special and we hope you are having a great time in Jackson! I borrowed this photo of Warren and Ann from Laurie's blog. Thanks, Laurie:)
