Fun at Grandma and Grandpa's House

The girls and I went to Jackson this past weekend to help dad celebrate his birthday. On Sunday, we drove down to Okoboji, walked around, shopped and stopped at McDonald's on our way home. It was a fun time and always nice to be "home." We are going to Minneapolis this weekend for a mini-vacation. Courtney, Shelly, Miranda and I are going to the American Idol concert on Saturday night. On Friday, we are planning on stopping in Albertville to do some back to school shopping. I'm also going to help my best friend, Jenny Rowe pick out bridesmaid dresses for her wedding in October. It should be a fun weekend:)

Happy Birthday Kelsey!

Today is Kelsey's 4th Birthday! It is hard to believe it has been 4 years since she was born. She is a bundle of energy and has a great personality. She can irritate her big sister but has a big heart and is always willing to help out. We love her very much and hope she has a great day! Kelsey's 4th Birthday Party

Kelsey celebrated her 4th Birthday today with her friends: Kyler, Austin, Ashley, Kylie, Drew, and Blake. The kids got wet with the Slip and Slide and water balloon toss. Then Eric created a scavenger hunt and map for the kids to locate hidden treasures in the backyard. Kelsey had a BackYardigans birthday party with hot dogs and cupcakes. She recieved many nice Dora the Explorer toys!! The girls and I are driving to Jackson tomorrow to help dad celebrate his birthday, while Eric is staying home to play in a two day golf tournament. A Hot Day for a Parade!

Princess Courtney rode in the Horse and Buggy Day parade today and threw candy to all of the kids. She looked beautiful and had a great time! We also celebrated Kelsey's 4th birthday with family at our house, following the parade. Kelsey had a Dora birthday, receiving many fun Dora toys, puzzles and clothes. It was a fun time! No Cavities!

Courtney and I just returned from the dentist, and she has no cavities! I didn't have any cavities either, but thought you'd rather see a picture of her teeth, than mine. The other picture shows Kelsey playing with Eric's bucket of golf balls. Have a good rest of the week:)

Here some of the latest creations in Courtney's drawing collection. She has quite a talent for drawing and detail. We are very proud of her! Courtney starts swimming lessons this week and gymnastics next week-should be fun:)

You're Invited on Sunday July 22nd to the Sisseton Horse and Buggy Days Parade. The parade will begin at 1:00, and will feature Little Miss Sisseton, Courtney Darlene Heath. After the parade, please join us for a barbecue/birthday party for Kelsey at our home.

Fourth of July=Family and Fun

We spent a wonderful 4th of July holiday at Dan and Laurie's new cabin on the lake. The cabin is wonderfully decorated and close to the lake. It was great to spend time with family, relax and spend time in and around the water. Kelsey enjoyed the jet ski with Uncle Ted and Courtney enjoyed the fireworks and jumping off the dock. A big thanks to Dan and Laurie for hosting us!
