Landscaping Project

Kelsey supervising.....
Eric and Courtney hard at work...

We spent most of the day outside working on the landscaping in our front yard. We took out the bushes that were there and bought some less 'bushy' plants to occupy the space. We all made a trip to the Nursery and the lady there let the girls each pick out two plants for free. They were very excited! Courtney chose a red geranium and purple petunias. It took her awhile to make the choice, while Kelsey immediately picked two containers of petunias-one hot pink and the other a lighter shade of pink. The photos show the Heath family hard at work...well, except for Kelsey-she was the supervisor:)
I will post a picture of the finished project as soon as we get some more Colorado river rock to fill in the area.
I will be taking the girls to Jackson on Sunday. They will be spending some quality time with grandma and grandpa while Eric and I attend a conference in Phoenix. The school allowed me to fly out of Sioux Falls so it won't be such a long drive. Eric is flying out of Fargo as he is going to Las Vegas from Phoenix to celebrate his birthday with friends from Colorado. We wish all of the wonderful fathers we know a very Happy Father's Day-especially Jim, Ron, and Phil! Havea good weekend everyone:)
