Dancing with Dad

The weather is finally cooperating and it looks to be a very nice weekend. Mom and dad are driving up to watch the girls last ice skating lesson tomorrow, so we will be happy to see them:) I took this photo of Kelsey and Eric dancing on Tuesday. Notice the pink streak in Kelsey's hair? Courtney has some hair mascara she received as a gift. Fortunately, it washes out pretty easily. Yesterday, the girls spent the afternoon at Hema and Sahali's house for a St. Patrick's Day party. Today, they went over to Blake and Nate's house to do some snowboarding. No school again today, as we are experiencing a true South Dakota blizzard with 4-8 inches of snow expected and 40 mph winds. TZ did not call off school until 7:40 am and Sisseton around 8:20 am. The girls have Spring break Thursday and Friday, so it will be a short week.

Busy Week....

Enjoying some tea with friends...

This past week was extremely busy at school. It seems as if the students have caught "Spring Fever." On Wednesday alone I had ten meetings and two behavior incidences to address. Then, on Friday I did not feel well. I went to school and made it through until 3:00,when I decided to go home, make some tea and lie on the couch. Thankfully, I am feeling much better today.

The girls and I spent most of today in Watertown at the ice rink. The skating club sponsored a competition and the girls worked as runners for the judges. They had fun, but are pretty tired this evening. It was fun to watch the various skaters, and I think Courtney will try competing next year.

The photo was sent to me by Hema and Sahali's mom. I thought it was a cute photo to post.

The girls invited their friends, Nate and Blake over this afternoon to go sledding. The boys brought their snow boards and they all had a great time! Have a great week everyone:)

Yes, that is correct, we've had 2 snow days!! The girls haven't had school either, so we've had tea parties, crafts, gymnastics, dancing, playing piano and reading to keep us occupied. Today, Eric took Kelsey to the school for basketball practice. We are all getting rather tired of winter!!

Eric has a 7th and 8th grade basketball tournament in Milbank tomorrow and the girls do not have ice skating lessons, so it will be a nice quiet weekend. Stay warm everyone:)
