Making Cupcakes....
We had a great time with Miranda and Sam this past week. They were wonderful helpers and the girls had a great time playing with them. Today, we had a gathering of mom's brothers and sisters at Ember's. It was nice to visit with all of them and cousins as well. We are getting ready for our trip to Phoenix on Monday. We are scheduled to fly out of Sioux Falls Monday night. I am a little concerned about the weather and hope our flight won't be delayed....

Miranda and baby Nico
Courtney, Sam, baby Nico
The Shakopee kids are adjusting pretty well to our 'country' lifestyle. They came to TZ for the afternoon, ate lunch with Courtney and Kelsey at Westside and visited Nicollet Tower. I'm going to take a few hours off tomorrow afternoon to spend with them. It is really fun to have Miranda and Sam around:)
Happy Anniversary Tim and Deb!

Ready for the Weekend....
Our kids for the week:)
Eric and I have today off-it was scheduled as part of our Spring break. So, I've done some laundry, cleaned a little and just finished packing our suitcase for the Cities. We will be leaving this afternoon to go to Shakopee, where we'll pick up Jamie, Miranda, and Sam. They will be staying with us for a week while their parents enjoy a very well deserved vacation to Hawaii! Tomorrow we'll venture to the Waterpark of America and meet up with my friend Rowe and her family. We are looking forward to a nice weekend!

Playing Candyland with Grandma.....
We had a wonderful weekend with mom and dad. They met us at the ice skating rink and were able to watch Courtney's final lesson for the year. We went to Minerva's for lunch and stopped at the Watertown mall. This morning we went to church and had a nice lunch before mom and dad left for home. The weather was beautiful and the snow is finally melting. Have a good week everyone!!

Dancing with Dad
The weather is finally cooperating and it looks to be a very nice weekend. Mom and dad are driving up to watch the girls last ice skating lesson tomorrow, so we will be happy to see them:) I took this photo of Kelsey and Eric dancing on Tuesday. Notice the pink streak in Kelsey's hair? Courtney has some hair mascara she received as a gift. Fortunately, it washes out pretty easily. Yesterday, the girls spent the afternoon at Hema and Sahali's house for a St. Patrick's Day party. Today, they went over to Blake and Nate's house to do some snowboarding. Have a great weekend everyone!!

Happy Birthday Seth!
We'd like to wish our nephew and cousin, Seth a very Happy 8th Birthday today! We wish that we could be with you to help celebrate-have a great day!
No school again today, as we are experiencing a true South Dakota blizzard with 4-8 inches of snow expected and 40 mph winds. TZ did not call off school until 7:40 am and Sisseton around 8:20 am. The girls have Spring break Thursday and Friday, so it will be a short week.

Busy Week....
This past week was extremely busy at school. It seems as if the students have caught "Spring Fever." On Wednesday alone I had ten meetings and two behavior incidences to address. Then, on Friday I did not feel well. I went to school and made it through until 3:00,when I decided to go home, make some tea and lie on the couch. Thankfully, I am feeling much better today.
The girls and I spent most of today in Watertown at the ice rink. The skating club sponsored a competition and the girls worked as runners for the judges. They had fun, but are pretty tired this evening. It was fun to watch the various skaters, and I think Courtney will try competing next year.
The photo was sent to me by Hema and Sahali's mom. I thought it was a cute photo to post.
Remember to set your clocks ahead tonight---Spring is on its way-we hope:)
