Courtney created her own little work space in the basement to do homework. I think it is great! She is very excited for school to start. We attended a Back to School picnic last night and met her teacher, Mrs. Ellsworth. I'll post more pictures on Monday. Have a good weekend everyone!

THANKS. cOURTNEY LOOKS so ready to start school. I know she will have a good year. Haven,t done much today. Try to keep the water out side the basement instead of in. We didn't have the north eaves conected to the gutter that carries the wateraway from the house so this time we did. We had almost 4 inches of rain this morning.The bassement is dry thanks goodness. Hope the rain stops. I canned tomatoes this week but didn't do much otherwise. Dorothe E. Came on thurs.we went out to the cemetary to see George's stone. It looks like it is facing the wrong way.but that's the way the family accepted it.I guess the other stones are all facing the wrong way.FRom the road you can see the back of it so you don't know who is buried there.So be it.THE last week in Aug. is full of picnics for Back to School. One for the staff and one for paaarents and children. It will seem strange to be home Labor Day weekend but restful for Dad. Maybe we will go to Fairmont and see the new walmart, ha.
